As with any popular tourist destination and ski resort town, there are many accommodation choices, with varying price ranges, to consider.  You can stay anywhere from a Hotel Italia, a generic chain of hotels available throughout Italy, to luxury Italian villas that are found through the Lombardy region as well.  Thankfully, there is a middle ground where reasonable hotel Bormio rates are available to be found, and the following paragraphs will discuss three of the town’s more economical quality lodging options, specifically, the Hotel Posta Bormio, the Hotel Gufo Bormio, and the Hotel Villa Rina Bormio.

All three of the above-listed Bormio hotels have the great advantage of being within walking distance of the ski lifts, while also offering easy access to, if not being directly located within, the medieval town center, which consists of mainly pedestrian walkways, historical points of interest, and excellent shopping. They also all offer friendly, knowledgeable service, and restaurants on-site that feature traditional cuisine from the area.  Any of these hotels will serve you well during your Italian Lakes holidays.

Hotel Posta

The Hotel Posta Bormio has thirty rooms and is in the center of the old town. As with the Hotel Posta, it is in a prime central location, and close to virtually everything. Because of its walking proximity to the ski lifts, shopping, and everything else that the town has to offer, guests who traveled to Bormio by car will have no need for their vehicle during their stay. Hotel Gufo anticipates this situation, and offers a free private parking spot with every room. The rooms are popular for being spotlessly clean, warm, and very well-maintained.
